We’re gearing up for our 13th Annual Puppy Pancake Day at Bon A-Pet-Treat! Pet Store & Bakery which will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at our Bowness location – 5111 Bowness Rd NW from 10 AM to 2 PM (or until the pancakes run out).

At this customer appreciation and fundraising event there will be complimentary puppy pancakes with toppings, raffle prizes, goodie bags, spin to win, a professional pet photographer, caricaturist, adopt-a-thon, in-store sale, pet food vendors and more!

Please Note: This event features pancakes made especially for dogs. We will not be serving human pancakes—this is a dog-focused treat experience.

If your dog does not do well with other dogs or large crowds, no worries! You do not need to bring your dog to attend. You are more than welcome to come by, line up, and take home a “doggie bag” with pancakes for your pup to enjoy in the comfort of home.

Originally started in 2013 as a response to the Calgary floods, Puppy Pancake Day has become our way of giving back and showing appreciation to our community. 100% of funds raised are donated to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) and ARTS senior rescue, with Bon A-Pet-Treat! matching donations. ARF and ARTS will also be joining us for the day with adoptable dogs!
